Hi Victoria, A quick note to let you know how much I enjoyed your Networking for Newbies class. I’m not exactly a newbie at it, but I suppose Networking for the Nervous doesn’t have quite the same ring. In any case, I attended a chamber mixer last night, and it was a much less nerve-wracking experience than before. Using my elevator speech helped me better articulate my business, and a focus on relationship-building, rather than client-landing made me a lot more relaxed. About the Meetings
Facilitated by guilt-free business and marketing coach Victoria Cook, this meeting is for small business owners who want to enjoy the benefits of connection through networking, but don’t know where to start, or have been frustrated by all the time and energy invested in networking with very few results to show for it all.
Each meeting begins with an explanation of networking and how to use it as an effective networking strategy, self-introductions (get your free elevator speech tool and networking introduction worksheet above, right), followed by a networking activity designed to increase interaction and participant comfort levels. The meeting concludes with a brief check out.
